The CREAM program is the result of an innovative partnership between the Clark County Public Works Department, Clark County Sheriff's Office, City of Vancouver, Clark College, Columbia Resource Company, and the Salvation Army. Clark County residents may bring their home computers or television sets to specially advertised collection events, or to the designated CREAM donation sites listed below. Non-residents, businesses and institutions are not eligible to use the collection events or site. Businesses and institutions can call (360) 397-2212 for their service options. Charges: Free to Clark County residents. Charges may apply to businesses or non-county residents; call (360) 696-8186 for more information. Accepts: Answering machines, CD's, calculators, camcorders, cassette tapes, computers, DVD's, fax machines, keyboards, mice, monitors, phones, printers, satellite dishes, scanners, software, speakers, stereos, TV's, typewriters, VCR's, video games, video tapes Does Not Accept: Copy machines, microwaves, toasters, hair dryers or other appliances. To see if you qualify for a refurbished computer, call The Salvation Army, Family Services office at (360) 694-9503.
